More Than Just a Sport – It’s Skill‑Building

Axe throwing is an engaging, hands‑on activity that helps build focus, coordination, and confidence. For schools, it fits naturally into PE lessons, STEM weeks, or enrichment programmes. For scout groups, it offers a fresh challenge that encourages teamwork, safe competition, and personal growth all within a structured and supportive format led by your own team.

Safety First — Built Into Every Throw

We know that safety is your top priority and it’s ours too.

Our equipment packages are designed with risk reduction in mind, using durable materials, clear throwing boundaries, and optional guidance resources that follow recognised best practice.

Whether you’re a PE teacher or scout leader, our aim is to support you in delivering safe, enjoyable sessions on-site.

Here are the key safety measures we recommend following:

Safety Checklist

One thrower at a time – Only one person should be in the throwing lane while a session is active.

  1. Clear the zone – Make sure no one is in front of the throwing line or retrieving axes during someone else’s turn.

  2. Set clear boundaries – Mark out safe zones around your throwing area and ensure all spectators stand well behind.

  3. Visual supervision – A designated adult must supervise all activity, with eyes on throwers at all times.

  4. No horseplay – Reinforce responsible behaviour at all times. Axe throwing is fun, but discipline matters.

  5. Inspect your kit – Check your targets and throwing axes regularly for wear and tear. Don’t use damaged kit.

  6. Age-appropriate tools – Only use axes suitable for your group. We offer a choice of tomahawks or full-size hatchets based on age and ability.

  7. Secure storage – Axes should be stored safely and out of reach when not in use.
